About the happy couple

Shelby and Aaron met at cross-country practice on the first day of Freshman year at Steele Canyon High School. It was not love at first sight. No, theirs is more of an enemies-to-friends-to-lovers sort of romance.

In the beginning, Shelby and Aaron bickered and bantered until, by Sophomore year, they realized they were actually kinda, sorta best friends. Secretly, they both had feelings for each other, but the time was never right.

After high school, Shelby and Aaron both went away to college in Arizona. Though they were 4 hours apart, they kept in touch as friends until the Summer of 2012, when Aaron decided the time was finally right.

Shelby and Aaron have overcome long distance, 2 big moves across state lines, career upheavals, a pandemic, and much more. This has been a long time coming, but it’s finally here. Welcome to their happily ever after.
